1. Position and function of the Transport Magazine

- Transport Magazine is an organization under the Ministry of Transport, performing the information function according to the principles and purposes stated in the license to operate printed magazines and electronic magazines issued.

- Transport Magazine is a public service unit implementing an autonomy mechanism according to the provisions of law; has legal status, has its own seal, and can open accounts at the state treasury and bank, with headquarters located in Hanoi City.

- Transport magazine with international transaction name: Transport Magazine.

2. Duties and powers of the Transport Magazine

Duties and powers of Transport Magazine include:

- Transport Magazine performs the duties and powers specified in the Press Law, the issued magazine operating license and relevant legal regulations.

- Disseminate and publish scientific research works, initiatives, experiences, achievements, and scientific and technological activities at home and abroad in the field of transportation and traffic safety.

- Reflect and guide public opinion in the fields of science, technology, management, economics, traffic safety, and other fields of the Transport industry; is a forum for scientists, managers, and experts in the field of transportation.

- Edit and publishing thematic issues, supplements, thematic books, and other publications according to the provisions of law; organizing consulting activities; exploiting information for propaganda and advertising; and publishing transportation magazines; Carry out the production and supply of communication products according to the State's ordering mechanism.

- Apply scientific and technological achievements and digital transformation in the transportation industry and in the production of publications.

- Organize events, conferences, seminars, and discussions on fields under the Ministry's state management and expertise to serve the Journal's propaganda and publishing work according to the regulations of the Law.

- Organize business and service activities in the fields of printing, prepress, publication distribution, advertising, filming, photography, and trading in equipment and supplies related to professional journalism according to the regulations of the Law.

- Organize training and foster professional knowledge for editors, reporters, and collaborators of the Journal.

- Associate press activities with other press agencies, legal entities, or individuals with business registration appropriate to the field of association to produce journalistic content in the field of transportation in accordance with the principles and purposes of the Journal and the provisions of the law.

- Receive and use legal donations from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in accordance with the law to serve the Journal's activities.

- Coordinate with relevant agencies to perform assigned functions, tasks, and powers according to the provisions of the law.

- Implement a mechanism of autonomy and self-responsibility for task performance, organizational structure, number of employees, finances, and assets according to the provisions of the law and decentralization of the Minister of Transport.

- Perform other tasks and powers as assigned and decentralized by the Minister of Transport and the provisions of law.

- Carry out charitable social activities according to the provisions of the law.
