Update to Decree 47/2017/ND-CP on increasing the statutory pay rate from July 01, 2017

the Government of Vietnam has just promulgated Decree 47/2017/ND-CP stipulating the statutory pay rate for officials and public employees and the armed forces.

From July 01, 2017, the statutory pay rate applied is 1,300,000 VND/month.

- Calculating the salary levels in the salary tables, allowances, and implementing other policies as prescribed by law for the subjects specified in Article 2 of this Decree;- Calculating the activity expenses, living expenses as prescribed by law;- Calculating the deductions and policies entitled based on the statutory pay rate.

Decree 47/2017/ND-CP takes effect from July 01, 2017, replacing Decree 46/2017/ND-CP.
