Circular 10/2016/TT-BGDDT on the Regulations for Student Affairs for Regular University Education Programs promulgated by the Minister of Education and Training on April 05, 2016.
University students enrolled in a regular undergraduate program are prohibited from the following actions:
Insulting staff members, teachers, employees, students of the university, and others.
Cheating in study, examinations, and testing.
Smoking, drinking alcohol, and beer within the university premises; being intoxicated when attending classes.
Gathering, demonstrating, and filing complaints unlawfully; participating in social vices, and disturbing order within the university and society.
Organizing or participating in illegal racing and encouraging illegal racing.
Organizing or participating in gambling in any form.
Manufacturing, trading, transporting, distributing, storing, using, or enticing others to use weapons, drugs, and prohibited substances; producing, trading, distributing, storing, using reactionary, depraved materials, and information; spreading superstitions and religious activities within the university.
Organizing and participating in illegal political activities; engaging in activities under the university's name without the Principal's permission.
Posting, commenting, sharing indecent, violent, depraved articles, and images on the Internet infringing on national security, opposing the Communist Party and the State, distorting, slandering, and insulting organizations, and individuals.
Organizing or participating in other unlawful activities.
Depending on the severity, students indulging in the aforementioned acts may face penalties ranging from reprimand to expulsion. If severe, they will be handed over to the authorities for handling as per legal regulations.
The Circular 10/2016/TT-BGDDT takes effect from May 23, 2016.
