Periodic period for reassignment in the agricultural sector in the locality in Vietnam

According to Circular 01/2023/TT-BNNPTNT, the periodic period for reassignment for civil servants and public employees who directly contact and handle the following jobs in Vietnam is from full 02 years to full 05 years:

- Management of animals on the rare list.

- Animal quarantine.

- Rangers.

- Control of veterinary drugs, pesticides, animal diseases, livestock, and poultry.

- Monitoring, managing, and protecting aquatic resources; managing quality, safety, hygiene, and veterinary and aquatic products.

In which, the time to calculate the time limit for changing the working position is the time when the competent agency is assigned to work in that position by the competent authority in accordance with the law.

For cases subject to the periodic change of working position specified above, that are being monitored, the conversion time shall be calculated according to the provisions of Circular 32/2015/TT-BNNPTNT, before July 1, 2023, but there is not enough time to periodically convert according to Circular 32/2015/TT-BNNPTNT, then:

Agencies, organizations, and units responsible for continuing to monitor and calculate the duration of holding positions in order to periodically review the transition according to the deadline specified in Circular 01/2023/TT-BNNPTNT are from full 02 years to 05 years.

Note: The above regulation only applies to civil servants who do not hold leadership positions, managers, public employees working in public non-business units who directly contact and handle work in the fields of management under the agriculture and rural development sector, and related organizations and individuals.
