Notification 15/TB-VPCP of Vietnam Government: Main tasks on taxation 2021

Recently, the Government Office of Vietnam issued Notification No. 15/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of the permanent Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Truong Hoa Binh at the National Conference on the summary of tax industry in 2020 and implement tasks in 2021.

According to the Notification No. 15/TB-VPCP, the Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh determines the main tasks on taxation in 2021, including:

- Continue to advise and improve institutions and policies on tax and tax administration to meet the requirements of innovation and integration, especially in the era of technology revolution 4.0;

- Policy development must focus on expanding the tax base, covering revenue sources, avoiding revenue loss and omission, paying attention to fields to protect Vietnam's taxing rights;

- The Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation of Vietnam further promote the sense of responsibility to the Communist Party, State and People, resolutely not allowing stagnation and harassment in the performance of tasks, building culture and "integrity, publicity and impartiality" staffs;

- Continue to promote administrative reform; strengthen tax inspection and examination, focus on inspecting transfer pricing and e-commerce activities; centralized management of tax collection for business households and non-state sectors;
