Guidance on Implementing Policies for Leadership Position Allowances

According to Decree 117/2016/ND-CP amending and supplementing several articles of Decree 204/2004/ND-CP on the implementation of policies on leadership position allowances in state agencies, state public service providers; agencies affiliated with the People's Army and the People's Police as follows:

- Coefficients of leadership position allowance for Departments subordinate to the Ministry: Head of Department subordinate to the Ministry (1.00); Deputy Head of Department subordinate to the Ministry (0.80); Head of Division (Board) and equivalent organizations (0.60); Deputy Head of Division (Board) and equivalent organizations (0.40);- Supplement the coefficients of leadership position allowance for professional organizations under Departments of the Ministry: Director (0.60); Deputy Director (0.40); Head of Division (0.30); Deputy Head of Division (0.20);- In case the current leadership position allowance being enjoyed is higher than the newly regulated coefficients mentioned above, the existing leadership position allowance shall be retained until the end of the appointed term.- In cases where the remaining appointed term is less than 6 months, the current leadership position allowance shall be retained for a full 6 months.

The Decree 117/2016/ND-CP takes effect from September 15, 2016.
