General standards of professional ethics for trainee administrators in Vietnam

Below is the content of Circular 29/2022/TT-BLDTBXH dated December 28, 2022 guiding the establishment and dissolution; organization of activities, list of job positions and norms of number of people working; internal rules and regulations; codes and standards of professional titles for officials specialized in student management; uniforms of officials and workers at public drug rehabilitation establishments.

According to Vietnam's Circular 29/2022/TT-BLDTBXH, the general standards of professional ethics of trainee management officers include:

- Dedication to work, respect, openness, solidarity, empathy, and sharing with colleagues in professional activities; always properly and fully performing the obligations of public employees in professional activities;

Protect the legitimate rights and interests of detoxifiers, colleagues, and the community.

- Dedication to work, making counseling and education important, and helping drug addicts change their behavior, and personalities, detox, and integrate into the community are the most important goals in professional activities; Respect, encourage, and support drug addicts in Vietnam;

Do not take advantage of professional relationships for personal gain to affect the detoxification of drug addicts.

- Regularly study to improve professional qualifications and skills in drug addiction treatment; strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the detoxification establishment and the industry.

Vietnam's Circular 29/2022/TT-BLDTBXH takes effect from February 15, 2023.
