This is a new point mentioned in Circular 02/2017/TT-TANDTC regarding the regulations on court session organization, issued by the Supreme People's Court on July 28, 2017.
In the Regulation on the organization of court sessions, some key content is highlighted as follows:
- The court may record, videotape, and videotape with sound the proceedings of the court session. And the recording and videotaping are carried out in accordance with the provisions of procedural law;- Judges, Jurors, and Court Clerks must wear appropriate judicial attire. If they violate, depending on the nature and extent of the violation, they may be subject to liability or disciplinary action;- The Trial Panel has the right to prosecute individuals violating the courtroom regulations if their behavior warrants criminal prosecution;- Some cases may be held in private to protect individuals under 18 years old or to maintain professional secrecy, business confidentiality, personal or family privacy.
