Conditions for Facilities Conducting HIV Screening Test

This is the content stipulated in Decree 75/2016/ND-CP on conditions for conducting HIV testing, effective from July 1, 2016. Facilities conducting HIV screening must meet the following requirements:

- Regarding personnel: Having at least one testing staff meeting one of the following conditions:- Possessing a practicing certificate within the professional scope of testing;- Receiving training on HIV testing techniques;- Having testing equipment and ensuring biological products, disease samples suitable for the HIV testing techniques that the facility implements;

- Facilities:- The experimental testing area uses non-absorbent materials, resistant to heat, corrosive chemicals, ensuring light, cleanliness, dust protection, moisture resistance, and availability of clean water;- The testing board is easy to clean with normal detergents, placed in a well-lit area and away from drafts;- There is a handwashing area;- There are means or measures to process waste before transferring it to the common waste storage area.
