Amending Investment and Business Conditions in the Field of Inland Waterways

Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 128/2018/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 110/2014/ND-CP regulating investment and business conditions in the inland waterway sector.

The above Decree has amended and supplemented a number of provisions of Decree 110/2014/ND-CP as follows:

- Domestic transportation business units are enterprises or cooperatives participating in transportation business by inland waterway means;- Transportation business units must establish enterprises or cooperatives in accordance with the laws of Vietnam;- Practice workshops must comply with the national standards for specialized classrooms, examination rooms, practice workshops, practical driving and machine operation training areas of the training institutions for crew members and operators of inland waterway means;- The content and training programs for crew members and operators of inland waterway means are executed as regulated by the Minister of Transport.
