Based on the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in the City, the Department of Education and Training has developed a Plan to organize the return of students to school in the city by grade levels, without concentrating them all at once.
To be specific, Foreign Language Centers, IT Centers, Tutoring Centers, Life Skills Education Centers, and Study Abroad Consulting Centers may resume operations if they ensure safety conditions as per the Safety Assessment Criteria in COVID-19 prevention and control; at the same time, fully implement the preventive measures as per the directive documents; starting from May 4, 2020 (Monday) according to the specific schedule:
- First session (according to the schedule for each class): Students come to the center, and together with the teachers, carry out the pandemic preventive measures.- Subsequent sessions: Students begin attending classes as usual.
The Department requires educational institutions to seriously and objectively conduct self-assessment according to the Safety Assessment Criteria in COVID-19 prevention and control; only be allowed to resume operations (Foreign Language Centers, IT Centers, Tutoring Centers, Life Skills Education Centers, and Study Abroad Consulting Centers) and welcome students back to school if safety conditions are ensured.
