On November 16, 2024, the Minister of Health of Vietnam issued Circular 36/2024/TT-BYT stipulating health standards and medical examinations for drivers, operators of specialized motorcycles; periodic health examinations for professional drivers of automobiles; and the health database of drivers, operators of specialized motorcycles.
From January 1, 2025, the list of health standards for drivers and operators of specialized vehicles in Vietnam will be implemented in accordance with the provisions of Circular 36/2024/TT-BYT.
Parents in Vietnam must commit not to provide motorcycles to their children not having a driver's license for the school year 2024-2025, as mentioned in Official Dispatch 4857/BGDDT-GDCTHSSV.
