The Ministry of Justice issued Circular 06/2018/TT-BTP on June 7, 2018, detailing specific subjects engaged in judicial work who are eligible for the Commemorative Medal.
Accordingly, Circular 06 stipulates that the following justice officials are eligible for the commemoration medal:
- Individuals directly involved in legal affairs at Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam, specialized agencies under the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, state-owned enterprises under Ministries and sectors at the central level; individuals working in the Army Enforcement Agencies; Lawyers; Notaries working at Notary Offices; Auctioneers working at property auction enterprises; Bailiffs; Insolvency Practitioners; Forensic Examiners; Commercial Mediators; Arbitrators may be proposed for the commemoration medal when they have at least 22 years of legal work experience for men, and at least 17 years for women.- Individuals who are mediators at the grassroots level may be proposed for the commemoration medal when they have at least 10 consecutive years directly engaging in mediation work in hamlets, villages, hamlets, hamlets, and urban quarters, or have at least 08 consecutive years directly engaging in mediation work and have excellent achievements rewarded by 03 Certificates of Merit or 01 Certificate of Merit from a competent state agency. For female mediators, the period of mediation work specified in this clause is reduced by 02 years.
