When is the License for Legal Practice Revoked?

Decree 137 stipulates that the operation registration certificate of a law practice organization will be revoked under the following circumstances:

- Termination of operations.- Being administratively sanctioned in the form of revoking the right to use the Operation Registration Certificate according to the provisions of the law on handling administrative violations.- Failure to register a tax identification number within 1 year from the date the Operation Registration Certificate is issued.- Non-continuous operation at the registered office for a period of 6 months, except for temporary suspension of operations as prescribed by law.- Failure to resume operations or failure to report on continuing suspension of operations for more than 6 months from the end date of the suspension period as prescribed by law.

According to Decree 137, the operation registration certificate of a branch of a law practice organization will be revoked under the following circumstances:

- The law practice organization that established the branch has its Operation Registration Certificate revoked.- The law practice organization that established the branch decides to terminate the branch's operations.- The branch of the law practice organization falls under one of the following cases:- Being administratively sanctioned in the form of revoking the right to use the Operation Registration Certificate according to the provisions of the law on handling administrative violations.- Failure to register a tax identification number within 1 year from the date the Operation Registration Certificate is issued.- Non-continuous operation at the registered office for a period of 6 months, except for temporary suspension of operations as prescribed by law.- Failure to resume operations or failure to report on continuing suspension of operations for more than 6 months from the end date of the suspension period as prescribed by law.

The individual law practice certificate will be revoked under the following circumstances:

- Voluntary cessation of practice.- Revocation of the law practice certificate according to legal regulations.
