What shall be done when discovering activities of dissemination and financing of weapons of mass destruction in Vietnam?

Agencies, organizations, and individuals, through their activities, when detecting the dissemination and sponsorship of dissemination activities or other legal violations relating to weapons of mass destruction in Vietnam, must promptly report to the forces stipulated at point a, clause 1, Article 14 of Decree 81/2019/ND-CP or military and police agencies, the nearest People's Committee for handling according to legal regulations.

In addition, the national focal point agency shall report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam and propose to the committee established under the resolution of the United Nations Security Council to include the violating organizations and individuals on the designated list.

The force for preventing and combating the dissemination of weapons of mass destruction stipulated at point a, clause 1, Article 14 of this Decree is responsible for deploying professional and technical measures according to related legal regulations to promptly detect and prevent activities of weapons of mass destruction dissemination; at the same time, guide and assist agencies, organizations, and individuals in recognizing dissemination acts and sponsorship dissemination of weapons of mass destruction and methods to detect, report, and denounce these activities; immediately apply measures to prevent and combat the dissemination and sponsorship dissemination of weapons of mass destruction according to the provisions of this Decree and related legal regulations.

In addition, the measures, procedures, procedures, and authority for applying the measures to prevent and combat the dissemination and sponsorship of the dissemination of weapons of mass destruction in performing tasks to protect national security, order, social safety, and defense tasks are implemented according to the provisions of Decree 81/2019/ND-CP and the provisions of the law on national security, order, social safety, Anti-Money Laundering Law, Anti-Terrorism Law, and the Law on Management, Use of Weapons, Explosives, and Supporting Tools.
