The Minister of National Defense has just signed and issued Circular No. 204/2013/TT-BQP stipulating the technical grade standards for power station repair workers.
According to the provisions of Circular 204/2013/TT-BQP, repairers of power stations in the Vietnam People's Army must meet the following requirements:

- Strong political courage, good moral qualities, absolute loyalty to the Communist Party, the Fatherland, and the People; strictly abide by state laws and military regulations; possess a working style and methods that meet the mission requirements; have graduated from high school or equivalent.- Graduated from a primary-level power station repair training course or intermediate technical automotive, automobile repair technician training, and have been retrained, supplemented, or transitioned to power station repair technician.- Receive enrichment and enhancement training, practice and theoretical tests meeting the standards according to each technical level before registering for higher technical level exams.- Within the same profession, technicians at higher technical levels must grasp and proficiently perform the tasks of technicians at lower technical levels; technicians at lower technical levels must grasp the basic content and be able to perform some of the tasks of technicians at higher technical levels under the guidance of specialized agencies.- Perform the assigned duties and responsibilities correctly; comply well with internal rules, processes, technical regulations, labor safety, and regulations on the preservation and protection of state assets and Ministry of Defense equipment.
