Circular 05/2016/TT-BGTVT was issued by the Ministry of Transport on April 04, 2016, to specifically stipulate the scope of the maritime port waters within the territory of An Giang province.
Circular 05 stipulates the scope of the sea port water areas within An Giang province based on the highest tide level, specifically limited as follows:
- The downstream boundary is a straight line across the Hau River passing through two points: AG1 with coordinates: 10°19’30” N; 105°29,30” E (My Thanh ward, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province) and AG2 with coordinates: 10°19’39” N; 105°29’55” E (Dinh An commune, Lap Vo district, Dong Thap province) at the mouth of Cai San canal (boundary between An Giang province and Can Tho city), running along both banks of the Hau River to the upstream boundary;- The upstream boundary is a straight line across the Hau River passing through two points: AG3 with coordinates: 10°21’45” N; 105°27’30” E (My Quy ward, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province) and AG4 with coordinates: 10°22’00” N; 105°27’55” E (Hoa Binh commune, Cho Moi district, An Giang province) at the area of Goi Lon canal.
