Two Agencies Receiving Dossiers for Evaluating Good Storage Practices for Pharmaceuticals

On November 22, 2018, the Ministry of Health issued Circular 36/2018/TT-BYT on Good Practices for Drug Storage and Drug Materials.

According to Circular 36, the drug storage facility shall submit 01 set of documents to the Receiving Agency of the Ministry of Health as follows:

- The Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Administration Department for facilities exporting, importing, and trading preservation services that request the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business within the scope of trading traditional medicine, traditional drugs, and traditional medicinal ingredients at the time of application submission;- The Drug Administration Department for facilities exporting, importing, and trading preservation services that request the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business within the scope of trading chemical pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biological products, herbal medicines, and pharmaceutical ingredients;- The Drug Administration Department for facilities exporting, importing, and trading preservation services that request the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility for Pharmaceutical Business within the scope of concurrently trading among the drugs and pharmaceutical ingredients specified above at the time of application submission.
