The Ministry of Health issued Circular 49/2017/TT-BYT on December 28, 2017, detailing regulations on training and transferring medical examination and treatment techniques remotely.
Accordingly, Circular 49 stipulates that medical facilities tasked with training and implementing remote technical transfer of medical examination and treatment must meet the requirements according to the law and the following provisions:
- There must be a suitable room or hall for the scale and content of the remote technical transfer training for medical examination and treatment.
- The information technology infrastructure must ensure:
- The minimum bandwidth of the transmission system at each connection point using HD technology is 2Mbps. The minimum bandwidth of the central control point with more than 02 connection points using HD technology is (n-n1) x 2Mbps, where n is the number of online connection points, n1 is the number of connection points within the internal network, and (n-n1) is the number of connection points outside the internal network;- Ensure at least 01 connection point has a data recording system.
