The tasks of leading technology companies in AI in Vietnam, according to Decision 699/QD-BTTTT, are as follows:
* Technology companies that provide AI application products and solutions (Viettel, VNPT, FPT, Mobifone, BKAV, VNG, VinAI, INFORE, MISA, etc.) shall:
- Provide integrated AI application solutions and develop AI application products for industries and fields listed in Section 1 of this Strategy.
- Focus on research, master technology, and develop specialized AI application products for Vietnam.
- Build and provide technical infrastructure and supply AI application services to businesses.
- Contribute to the development of open-source datasets and create new datasets to meet the data needs of other AI platforms.
- Collaborate in the development of AI applications to create pre-trained models for immediate use by the community based on community-built sample datasets.
- Connect supply-demand of AI application products, services, and solutions to other agencies, organizations, and businesses.
* Technology companies shall:
- Test and use essential AI products and services provided by AI development companies, and proactively upgrade AI services to a deep level as necessary to serve the development needs of businesses.
- Participate in data labeling and the construction of open datasets to meet the specific AI problems of each industry, establishing it as an open resource community.
- Collaborate with universities, training institutions, and accept students, research students, and lecturers from training institutions to research, test, and deploy new ideas on AI applications.
