On September 26, 2017, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 32/2017/TT-BGTVT promulgating the National Technical Regulation on pressure equipment in transport vehicles and means, equipment for exploration and exploitation at sea.

The design of pressure vessels must meet the following requirements:

- Comply with the requirements for each type of pressure vessel installed on each type of vehicle.- For vessels pressurized by liquefied gases, the design pressure in the absence of design requirements in the corresponding application standard must be greater than the following values:- Pressure under the most severe operating conditions, excluding fire and other abnormal situations.- Vapor pressure of the liquid contained within the vessel at the highest working temperature according to the highest working temperature for pressure vessels containing liquefied gases.- The highest working temperature must be taken as the greater value among the following:- The highest temperature to which the contained medium must endure during the technological process under the most severe operating conditions.- The highest temperature that the liquid contained within can reach due to environmental conditions.
