Regulations on Recording and Monitoring Firefighting Water Pumps

Circular 09/2017/TT-BTC was issued by the Ministry of Finance on February 06, 2017, specifying the policies for recording and monitoring fire-fighting water pumps.

Accordingly, Circular 09 stipulates that in addition to preparing documents in accordance with the national reserve accounting policies, it is required to maintain a preservation log (hereinafter referred to as the preservation log).

The preservation log is mandated for use as follows:

- It is used to record daily or occasional entries regarding the status of goods preservation tasks, changes in quantity, and quality. The log must be properly sealed, fully record all contents as prescribed, and have all required signatories and seals;- The warehouse keeper responsible for preservation must fully document changes in quality, preservation tasks, any arising damage, and the results of handling for each fire water pump during the storage period;- The head of the unit directly managing national reserve goods shall record twice a month; the technical preservation department of the unit directly managing national reserve goods shall record weekly to document changes in quantity, quality, and assess the preservation tasks of fire water pumps in the preservation log;- Once every three months, the head of the national reserve unit must inspect and record comments evaluating the preservation of fire water pumps in the preservation log.
