Order of Issuance and Reissuance of Medical Examination and Treatment Licenses

This is a prominent provision stipulated in Decree 50/2019/ND-CP, which regulates the issuance of practice certificates for individuals practicing medical examination and treatment, and the issuance of operating licenses for medical examination and treatment establishments within the Military.

To be specific, the issuance, reissuance, and adjustment of medical practice certificates in the Army shall be carried out according to the following procedures:

- The individual requesting issuance, reissuance, or adjustment of the medical practice certificate submits a dossier directly or via postal service or electronic data transfer to the superior Military Medical Department/Office, then to the Military Medical Department/Office of the focal unit under the Ministry of National Defense.- The Military Medical Department/Office of the focal unit under the Ministry of National Defense compiles, creates a list along with the request dossier of the practitioner, and submits it along with a recommendation letter from the unit commander to the Military Medical Department directly or via postal service or electronic data transfer.- In case the dossier is not valid, within 5 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier, the Military Medical Department will send a written response to the unit that submitted the dossier, specifying reasons for invalidity, requirements for supplementary documents, and necessary amendments in the application dossier.- Within 15 working days from the date of receipt of a valid dossier, the Military Medical Department shall review the dossier and complete the procedures for submission to the competent authority for issuance, reissuance, or adjustment of the medical practice certificate.- Within 20 working days from the date the competent authority signs the decision, the Military Medical Department will return the medical practice certificate to the unit for issuing to the practitioner.
