Must Arrange 24/24 On-Call Duty During Days of Natural Disasters

This is the content stipulated in Circular 10/2019/TT-BGTVT regulating disaster prevention and control in the maritime sector.

According to the provisions of Circular 10/2019/TT-BGTVT, the shift times for disaster prevention and control in the maritime sector during days with natural disasters or emergency situations are 24/24 hours, divided into 02 shifts/day, including weekends and holidays.

To be specific:

- Shift 1: From 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM;- Shift 2: From 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the next morning.

Also according to Circular 10/2019/TT-BGTVT, the responsibility for disaster prevention and control on duty lies with:

- The leadership of the Vietnam Maritime Administration and several assigned officers responsible for disaster prevention and control tasks;- The leadership of agencies, units specified in Article 5 of Circular 10/2019/TT-BGTVT, and officers of functional departments that monitor and execute disaster prevention and control duties.

To ensure safety, participants in disaster prevention and control tasks are provided with protective gear and receive remuneration policies as regulated.
