On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduating from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering fields.

According to the Regulation on minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the metal cutting sector issued with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level in the metal cutting sector is as follows:
- Work independently or in a team, coordinate to solve tasks in changing work conditions;
- Guide and supervise lower-ranked workers in performing specified tasks at the workplace;
- Take personal responsibility for assigned work results and discuss the implementation results of team members;
- Take initiative when performing tasks;
- Adhere well to organizational discipline, execute industrial behavior standards;
- Cooperate and assist colleagues, continuously improve specialized knowledge;
- Be dynamic and creative during work, have a team spirit, flexibly apply acquired knowledge to actual production.
