International Cooperation Content of the Science and Technology Development Fund

According to Circular 12, the cooperation document between the Fund and its partners must include the following main contents:

1. Target subjects and fields of sponsorship and support cooperation;

2. Contribution principles of the parties

   - Specifically stipulate the level of contribution, the form of contribution, and the commitment of the parties regarding the arrangement of appropriate and capable personnel to handle the management, sponsorship, and support of scientific research per international practices.

3. Methods, criteria, and procedures for evaluating and selecting scientific and technological tasks, and activities to enhance national scientific and technological capacity within the program.

4. Intellectual property rights

   - Stipulate the use of research results obtained through the scientific and technological tasks, and activities to enhance national scientific and technological capacity, which are co-funded and supported by the parties in accordance with the laws of Vietnam and the partner country.

5. Effective duration of the cooperation document

   - The implementation period follows the agreement between the Fund and its partners. The Fund and its partners must notify each other in writing about the proposal to terminate cooperation before the due date or to extend cooperation when the effective duration of the cooperation document is nearing its end.
