Inspection on the Protection of Transportation Works

When conducting an inspection, the Inspection Team or Inspector for the Protection of Transport Infrastructure has the authority to:

- Inspect and investigate the implementation of laws regarding the protection of transport infrastructure;- Record the violations of the law on the protection of transport infrastructure; decide to temporarily suspend or terminate severe legal violations concerning the protection of transport infrastructure;- Handle within their jurisdiction or recommend state agencies with the authority to handle violations of the law on the protection of transport infrastructure;- Resolve disputes, complaints, and denunciations related to violations of the law concerning the protection of transport infrastructure within their jurisdiction;- Lead and cooperate with the people's police force and other law enforcement agencies in performing the inspection function of protecting transport infrastructure.

In necessary cases, to promptly prevent possible consequences for transport infrastructure due to violations of the law on protecting transport infrastructure, Inspectors are permitted to stop transportation vehicles to take measures according to their authority and are accountable before the law for their decisions.

Organizations and individuals are responsible for facilitating the Inspection Team or Inspector of Transport Infrastructure Protection in carrying out their duties and complying with the decisions of the Inspection Team or Inspector of Transport Infrastructure Protection.

The Inspection Team or Inspector for the Protection of Transport Infrastructure shall be responsible before the law for their decisions.
