On April 27, 2017, Circular 96/2017/TT-BQP was issued by the Ministry of National Defense stipulating the standard teaching and scientific research hours for educators in the People's Army of Vietnam.

Each educator in the People's Army of Vietnam will have a set teaching hour standard, and if they exceed this standard, they will enjoy the following policies:
