How Many Popular Art Competitions and Festivals Are There?

Accordingly, Circular 09 specifically lists public arts contests and festivals including:

- National public arts contests and festivals are public arts contests and festivals organized by central committees, ministries, and central authorities of political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, socio-professional organizations, economic organizations (hereinafter collectively referred to as central organizations) for public performers from localities across the country.- Regional public arts contests and festivals are public arts contests and festivals organized by central organizations, provinces, and centrally governed cities for public performers from localities and units located in the provinces and centrally governed cities in the region.- Provincial public arts contests and festivals are public arts contests and festivals organized by province-level and centrally governed cities organizations for public performers from localities and units located in the provinces and centrally governed cities.- District-level public arts contests and festivals are public arts contests and festivals organized for public performers from localities and units located in the district.- Commune-level public arts contests and festivals are public arts contests and festivals organized for public performers from units located in the commune.
