This is a noteworthy content mentioned in Circular 40/2014/TT-BGTVT on the National technical regulation of motor used for electric bicycles and National technical regulation for batteries of electric bicycles in Vietnam.
In QCVN 76:2014/BGTVT – “National technical regulation for batteries of electric bicycles in Vietnam” issued together with Circular 40/2014/TT-BGTVT, regulations on test samples for imported batteries and domestically manufactured and assembled batteries are specified as follows:
For domestically manufactured and assembled batteries
- For lead-acid batteries: 04 new unused battery samples for each battery type.
- For Nickel metal hydride batteries and Lithium-ion batteries: 04 battery samples, 01 new unused battery unit for each battery type.
- Sampling method:
For imported batteries
- Number of test samples: for each shipment, as specified in the table below.
- Sampling method: randomly selected from an imported shipment.
