The inspection and evaluation of the technical condition of automatic water and foam fire extinguishing systems include checking:

- The condition of fire extinguishing nozzles (in locations with mechanical damage risks, nozzles must be properly protected without affecting the coverage area and fire-induced heat flow).

- The types and sizes of nozzles within each branch pipeline (for each area) must be consistent in type and size.

The technical status evaluation and operational capability of water and foam-based fire extinguishing systems must comply with the standards on "Automatic water-based fire extinguishing systems - General technical requirements and test methods" and "Automatic foam-based fire extinguishing systems - General technical requirements and test methods" and other relevant existing regulations.

Further details may be found in Circular 52/2019/TT-BCA effective from December 18, 2019.
