Hanoi-Vietnam: Knowledge required for graduates of college programs in food crop cultivation

On February 10, 2019, Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements for graduates of intermediate and college programs in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary in Vietnam will come into force.

Knowledge  Required  Upon  Graduation  in  Crop  Cultivation  at  College  Level,  Circular <label class='loitv' style='background:yellow'> 52/2018/TT-BLĐTBXH

Under the Regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements for graduates of intermediate and college programs in food crop cultivation, issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge required for graduates of college programs in food crop cultivation in Vietnam are as follows:

- Present the regulatory documents regarding technical processes and economic-technical norms in food crop cultivation;

- Present fundamental knowledge about new technologies in agricultural supply product production;

- Present the steps to build plans, organize, and implement the production of seeds, cultivation, and care of food crops suitable for market demands and agricultural orientation;

- Present technical requirements for cultivating certain types of food crops;

- Describe the technical steps for cultivating, caring for, managing, protecting, and developing some food crops;

- Present the processes for using equipment and tools for cultivation, care, pest control, harvesting, and preliminary preservation of food crops;

- Present general knowledge about new technologies in food crop production;

- Present methods for aggregating information and writing and presenting reports;

- Present some knowledge about business related to food crops;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education as required.
