On May 26, 2017, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 136/2017/TT-BQP to specifically stipulate the general standards of defense workers specializing in vehicle and machinery technology.
Circular 136 stipulates general standards for defense technical workers specializing in vehicles and machinery, including:
- Firm political stance, good moral character, absolute loyalty to the Communist Party, Fatherland, and People; strictly adhere to State laws and Military discipline; correctly implement the Technical Work Regulations, Technical Work Regulations for Military Vehicles and Machinery of the Vietnam People's Army, and labor safety regulations; possess a working style and methodology that meets task requirements.- Education level of graduating from secondary school or higher; completing training programs or supplementary training at units and being certified by competent authorities with relevant vocational certificates (or diplomas) suitable for the specialized field of work.- Undergo training to improve their skills, enhance expertise, and pass theoretical and practical assessments meeting the standards specified for each technical grade before registering for higher technical grade examinations.- Within the same profession, individuals with higher technical skill levels must firmly grasp the contents and proficiently perform tasks of lower levels; lower levels must understand the basic contents and be capable of performing some tasks of higher-level workers with guidance from specialized agencies.- Accurately perform the assigned duties and responsibilities; comply well with internal regulations, procedures, technical standards, labor safety, and regulations on maintaining and protecting the state's and Ministry of Defense's assets and equipment.
