Funding to Ensure Meal Allowances and Supplementary Medicine Costs for Military Sports Instructors

Recently, the Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 164/2019/TT-BQP stipulating standards, quotas, and levels of meal allowances and regular supplement allowances for coaches, athletes, and physical education teachers in the Army.

Funding to ensure the implementation of regular meal and supplement policies for coaches, athletes, and physical education teachers in the Army stipulated in Circular 164/2019/TT-BQP is included in the annual defense budget estimates of agencies and units and accounted for according to the state budget classification system applied in the Army, as follows:

- Meal allowance for non-commissioned officers and soldiers: Accounted into Code 6400, Sub-code 6401, Detail-code 20, Sector 00 “Military branch meal allowance”.- Meal allowance difference for salaried individuals (including contractors): Accounted into Code 6400, Sub-code 6401, Detail-code 30, Sector 00 “Compensatory meal allowance for salaried individuals”.- Additional meal allowance for service individuals and supplement allowance: Accounted into Code 6400, Sub-code 6401, Detail-code 40, Sector 00 “Additional meal allowance for duty tasks”.

The standards and policies stipulated in Circular 164/2019/TT-BQP are effective from November 1, 2019.
