Focal Point for Providing Information in the Ministry of National Defense Upon Request

Specifically, according to the guidance content in Circular 64/2018/TT-BQP, the information provision points within the Ministry of National Defense are as follows:

* Agencies and units at all levels within the Ministry of National Defense are responsible for organizing the provision of information created by themselves, except for the following cases:

- The Office of the Ministry of National Defense provides information created by the Minister of National Defense and information created by itself;- The Office of: General Staff, General Political Department, general departments; Office of the Commander: Military zones, services, army corps, arms, Border Guard, Coast Guard, Preservation of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Hanoi Capital, High Command 86; Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense, Central Military Court, Central Military Procuracy, academies, schools under the Ministry of National Defense provide information created by their heads and information created by themselves.

* Ho Chi Minh City Command, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, District Military Command, besides providing information they create as stipulated above, also provide information created by the Ministry of National Defense, information created by the agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense that they receive to directly perform their functions, duties, and powers, except for cases stipulated in Article 6 of the Law on Access to Information; for the cases stipulated in Article 7 of the Law on Access to Information, information will be provided when the conditions stipulated are met.

Besides that, the Circular also stipulates public information provision points which include:

- The Ministry of National Defense's electronic information portal is the public information provision point of the Ministry of National Defense, located at: http://mod.gov.vn or http://bqp.vn.

- Electronic information portals, websites of agencies and units are the public information provision points of those agencies, units. In cases where there are no electronic information portals, websites, agencies, and units shall, based on actual conditions, publicly disclose information by other appropriate methods.
