Eye Protection Equipment for Welding Must Be Conformity Certified

- The conformity certification is performed by certification organizations designated by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) or by recognized foreign organizations and individuals.- The conformity certification is carried out through sampling and evaluation of product batches.- Imported means of individual eye protection used in welding work are exempt from quality inspection if there is a bilateral or multilateral agreement between the competent authorities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the exporting countries stipulating that quality inspection is not required upon importation.- Samples of products intended for exhibition or advertising purposes, which are not to be directly used by workers, are exempt from import quality inspection, with a maximum quantity of 5 units.
