Content of State Management on Protection of Traffic Works

To be specific, according to the provisions in Article 26 of the Ordinance on Protection of Transport Structures 1994, these contents include:

1. Planning, constructing, renovating, upgrading, and repairing transport structures.

2. Developing and issuing legal documents on the protection of transport structures and organizing the implementation of legal regulations on the protection of transport structures.

3. Organizing the management and protection system of transport structures.

4. Specifying and announcing the load limits and technical standards for various types of transportation vehicles suitable for the safety of the public transport infrastructure system.

Regulations on the load and size limits of large transportation vehicles permitted for import into Vietnam.

5. Issuing and revoking permits for the exploitation and use of structures that affect the quality and safety of transport structures.

6. Regulations on constructing structures along both sides of transport corridors suitable with the planning for the renovation and expansion of transport corridors.

7. Propagating, disseminating, and educating on the law regarding the protection of transport structures.

8. Training and fostering management personnel for the protection of transport structures; researching and applying scientific and technological advancements in the field of protection of transport structures.

9. Inspecting and supervising the implementation of legal regulations on the protection of transport structures.

10. Resolving disputes, complaints, and denunciations related to the protection of transport structures; handling legal violations regarding the protection of transport structures as per authority.

11. International cooperation in the field of protection of transport structures.
