Preparation:
The preparation includes the following steps:
- Receiving the task;- Developing the outline;- Collecting relevant documents;- Preliminary selection of locations on the map;- Selecting survey measurement feature locations;- Drawing a location diagram for survey measurement points;- Contacting local authorities to conduct surveys;- Preparing machines, equipment, tools, and materials for survey measurement activities;- Installing and checking all types of machines and equipment before conducting the survey.
Detailed Survey Measurement
- Conducting detailed daily survey measurements according to the national technical standards on meteorological observations, including the following elements: wind, atmospheric pressure, air temperature, air humidity, rainfall, evaporation, soil surface temperature and deep soil layers, soil humidity and deep soil layers, sunshine duration, radiation, horizontal visibility, and cloud base height.
Dismantling, cleaning, and maintaining survey measurement tools and equipment
Completing Documentation
Circular 45 stipulates that completing documentation includes the following steps:
- Correcting errors of measured elements;- Calculating results and preparing data tables;- Creating files and data tables according to survey requirements;- Entering data into the computer, performing data control, correction, handing over survey results, writing comprehensive reports, and finalizing the acceptance
