The Ministry of Transport has just issued Circular 37/2018/TT-BGTVT to stipulate the contents and basis for establishing road maintenance procedures.

Content of the road maintenance process as stipulated in Decree 46/2015/ND-CP.

The basis for establishing the road maintenance procedure as prescribed by Circular 37 includes:

- Standards and technical norms applied to the project;- Maintenance procedures of similar projects (if any);- Design documents (including adjusted design documents, if any), technical instructions for construction;- Instructions from manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of equipment into the project;- Natural conditions where the project is constructed;- Other necessary documents.

Particularly for projects that have been handed over for use but do not yet have maintenance procedures, in addition to the above-mentioned regulations, the establishment of maintenance procedures must also be based on the project completion documents, as-built drawings, and the actual exploitation capacity of the project.
