Circular 10: Task Code for Protocol Decree and Related Forms

Article 5 Circular 10/2019/TT-BKHCN

The code for protocol tasks in the Decision by the Minister of Science and Technology approving the lead organization, principal investigator, funding, and implementation duration of the protocol task is specified as follows: NDT/xx/yy/zz, where:

- NDT is the abbreviation for the protocol task.- xx is the abbreviated code for the country/territory of the partner implementing the protocol task as specified by the ISO 3166 standard.- yy is a numerical code, representing the year (last two digits) in which the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the lead organization, principal investigator, funding, and implementation duration of the protocol task.- zz is a numerical code representing the serial number of the protocol task approved in that year.

This Circular stipulates that the Ministry of Science and Technology reviews the process and procedures for the Task Identification Council and considers the advisory opinions of the Task Identification Council. Based on the results of the Task Identification Council’s work, the Ministry of Science and Technology negotiates with the foreign partner and reaches a consensus on the content and timing for jointly announcing the selection of protocol tasks. The announcement for selecting protocol tasks will be publicly posted on the Ministry of Science and Technology’s electronic information portal for at least 60 days to allow organizations and individuals to prepare registration dossiers for selection.
