Cases in Which State Administrative Agencies Do Not Hold Meetings

On November 9, 2018, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issued Decision 45/2018/QD-TTg specifically stipulating the cases in which state administrative agencies do not hold meetings.

Decision 45 stipulates the following cases where meetings are not organized:

- Meetings to resolve regular work during disasters or emergency situations.- Meetings to address tasks that have already been delegated, decentralized, or authorized to heads of lower administrative agencies.- Meetings to resolve matters that have been legally stipulated to be resolved through other methods without a meeting.- Meetings to hear reports on work task implementation by lower levels as a substitute for direct inspections of lower-level agencies, units, and establishments.- Meetings combined with sightseeing, networking, vacations, or using the meeting format for organizing recreational activities for officials and public employees, and workers.
