Aviation Obstacles Must Be Marked

This is a notable provision stipulated in Decree 32/2016/ND-CP on the management of the height of aviation obstacles and the management and protection of the airspace in Vietnam.

According to the provisions of Decree 32/2016/ND-CP, the following obstacles must be marked for aviation:

- Have a height that exceeds the obstacle limitation surfaces of the airport;- Located within the vicinity of the airport airspace, with a height of 45 meters or more above the airport elevation;- Located outside the vicinity of the airport airspace with a height of 45 meters or more above the natural ground level;- Obstacles specified in Appendix IV issued with Decree 32/2016/ND-CP.

Note: Exceptions to aviation marking are considered, decided, and stated in the height approval document by the Department of Operations - General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
