Persons who have been issued a press card, when transferred to work at another agency or unit that is still eligible to be issued a press card according to Article 26 of the Press Law, must undergo the procedure to change their press card to the new agency.

The dossier requesting the change of the press card includes:

- Official Dispatch from the agency or unit to which the person requesting the change of the press card has transferred for work;- A certified copy of the decision on work acceptance or labor contract by the competent state authority;- A copy of the press card issued by the previous agency or unit before the transfer;- A document from the previous agency or unit confirming that the person requesting the change of the press card does not fall under any of the cases specified in points a, b, c, d, and dd, clause 3, Article 27 of the Press Law;- List of published or broadcasted journalistic works.

Within 30 days from the date of receiving the valid dossier, the Ministry of Information and Communications shall consider the change of the press card.
