Annual Professional Development Plan for Teachers

According to Article 8 of Circular 19/2019/TT-BGDDT, the professional development plan for teachers, management staff of early childhood education institutions, general education institutions, and teachers at the continuous education center (BDTX) is developed on an academic year basis, including: the BDTX plan for teachers, management staff, early childhood education institutions, general education institutions, continuous education centers, education and training departments, and education and training departments.

To be specific, the BDTX plan must clearly state the objectives, content, type of BDTX organization, and the output results that meet the continuous professional development requirements for teachers and management staff. The implementation of the BDTX plan for the academic year is carried out as follows:

- BDTX plan for teachers and management staff: Based on the needs for training modules, training forms, and guidance of the educational institution where they are working; teachers and management staff develop personal BDTX plans and submit them to the competent authority for approval before May 31 each year;- BDTX plan for early childhood education institutions, general education institutions, and continuous education centers: Based on the guidance of the department of education and training, the district education and training office, according to management decentralization, and the BDTX plan of teachers and management staff; early childhood education institutions, general education institutions, and continuous education centers develop BDTX plans and report to the higher education management agency in June each year;- BDTX plan of the district education and training office: Based on the guidance of the department of education and training and the BDTX plan of early childhood education institutions, primary schools, and secondary schools under its management authority; the district education and training office develops the BDTX plan and reports to the department of education and training in June each year;- BDTX plan of the department of education and training: Based on the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training, the BDTX plan of the district education and training office, high schools, general education institutions under its management authority, and continuous education centers; the department of education and training develops the BDTX plan to implement starting from July each year.
