Announcing the Water Areas of the Seaports under the Jurisdiction of Quang Nam Province

On May 03, 2019, the Ministry of Transport issued Circular 16/2019/TT-BGTVT to announce the waters of the seaport within the territory of Quang Nam province and the management area of the Quang Nam Maritime Administration.

The boundary on the sea side of the sea port waters of Quang Nam at the Ky Ha area is delineated by straight lines connecting sequentially the points KH1, KH2, KH3, KH4, and KH5 with the following coordinates:

- KH1: 15°30’18.1”N; 108°38’00.0”E;- KH2: 15°32’00.0”N; 108°38’00.0”E;- KH3: 15°32’00.0”N; 108°43’30.0”E;- KH4: 15°27’00.0”N; 108°43’30.0”E;- KH5: 15°27’00.0”N; 108°41’52.0”E.

Also according to Circular 16/2019/TT-BGTVT, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration is the authority responsible for announcing pilot pick-up and drop-off zones, quarantine zones, anchorage areas, transshipment areas, and storm sheltering areas for vessels entering and leaving the seaport within the territory of Quang Nam Province and other waters as prescribed.
