Age of Conscription Participation 2017

Age for Conscription:

- Citizens who are at least 18 years old will be called for conscription, from the age of 18 until the end of age 25.- For citizens who have been trained at college or university level and have had their conscription postponed, the age for conscription is until the end of age 27.

In addition, if a citizen voluntarily wishes to participate in military service, they must meet the following conditions:

- Male citizens aged 17 and older.- Female citizens aged 18 and older in professional fields appropriate as prescribed in Article 3 of Decree 14/2016/ND-CP.
