6 Spending Tasks of the Localities to Implement the Project on Teaching and Learning Foreign Languages

In the current trend of international integration, enhancing foreign language proficiency is a top priority for the State through the use of budgets to implement the project on foreign language teaching and learning. The local budget for carrying out the project tasks is as follows:

- Training and developing foreign language teachers and lecturers, teachers and lecturers teaching subjects and specialized subjects in foreign languages.- Enhancing facilities and equipment applying information technology, ensuring conditions for teaching and learning foreign languages.- Implementing activities to innovate the content, curriculum, and teaching methods of foreign languages; preparing facilities and supporting teachers to participate in piloting foreign language programs and textbooks.- Developing programs and organizing training to improve foreign language proficiency for officials and public employees.- Organizing the implementation of foreign language programs and textbooks, distributing textbooks to libraries of schools in mountainous areas, islands, ethnic minority areas, socio-economically challenged areas, and students with disabilities and economic difficulties.- Supporting activities to build an environment for foreign language teaching and learning; conducting communication activities about foreign language teaching and learning in localities.
