06 Forms of Organization of Medical Examination and Treatment Facilities under the Ministry of National Defense

On June 07, 2019, the Government of Vietnam promulgated Decree 50/2019/ND-CP stipulating the issuance of practicing certificates for practitioners of medical examination and treatment, and the issuance of operational licenses for medical examination and treatment establishments within the Military.

According to the provisions of Decree 50/2019/ND-CP, medical examination and treatment facilities under the Ministry of National Defense are organized as follows:

- Hospitals, research institutes with general or specialized hospital beds;- Research centers, nursing centers with hospital beds;- Military medical clinics, Ban Co Yeu the Government of Vietnam clinics, treatment teams;- General clinics under the military medical departments, units at the regimental level and equivalent or higher;- Specialized clinics, including: Consultation and preventive treatment clinics; Occupational disease treatment clinics; HIV/AIDS clinics and treatment centers;- Military-civilian medical facilities established by competent authorities.
