03 Types of Regular In-service Training Organizations for Early Childhood Education Teachers

Circular 19/2019/TT-BGDDT stipulates the implementation of regular professional development (BDTX) for teachers, managers of preschools, general education institutions, and teachers at continuing education centers through active methods, enhancing self-study, promoting the activeness, proactiveness, and creative thinking of teachers and managers; strengthening practical exercises at preschools, general education institutions, and continuing education centers; discussing, exchanging, and sharing information, knowledge, and experiences between presenters and teachers and managers, among teachers, and among managers.

To be specific, there are 03 forms of organizing BDTX as follows:

Firstly, centralized: Conducting centralized training; guiding teachers and managers in self-study, practice, systematizing knowledge, solving questions, and guiding the BDTX content that meets the needs of teachers and managers in BDTX learning; creating opportunities for teachers and managers to exchange, share, discuss professional knowledge, and practice skills.

The duration, number of teachers, and managers participating in centralized training are implemented according to management decentralization but must ensure the requirements for purposes, goals, content, methods, and duration of training specified in the BDTX Program and regulations in the regular professional development regulations for teachers and managers of preschool education institutions, general education institutions, and teachers at continuing education centers issued with this Circular.

Secondly, distance learning: Implementing distance training, enhancing the application of information technology in training activities, and online training for teachers and managers ensuring the requirements for purposes, goals, content, methods, and duration of training specified in the BDTX Program and regulations in this Regulation;

Thirdly, semi-centralized: Combining centralized and distance training forms to ensure the effectiveness and requirements of BDTX for teachers and managers.
